Bicibus - Discovering Friuli Venezia Giulia by bicycle

We look forward to seeing many of you with your bicycles!

BiciBus is the service dedicated to cyclists and athletes for moving around the regional territory together with their own bicycle on board of suburban buses equipped with a special trolley for bike transport and on motor ships that connect the main seaside resorts during the summer season.

Friuli Venezia Giulia, in fact, is a bike-friendly region with numerous cycling routes ideal for all levels of training, for families and athletes: from slow rides through villages and vineyards to the challenge of the mountain climbs of the Giro d’Italia, from mountain bike trails in the midst of nature to the 175 km of the Alpe Adria Cycle Route, one of the most awarded routes in Europe that crosses the region from Tarvisio to Grado.

The buses that operate the BikeBus service ensure connections across the regional territory from the mountains to the sea, passing through the most important locations via various routes, also in connection with the railway routes of Trenitalia and FUC (Ferrovie Udine Cividale).

The transportation of your bike on board the Bicibus TPL FVG is included in the single journey ticket that you can find at all authorized points of sale.

Bikebus UDINE - PALMANOVA - AQUILEIA - GRADO

The service that connects the Friulian capital to the Golden Island, passing through the beautiful historic cities of Palmanova and Aquileia, is active from April 25 to September 8, 2024 every Saturday, Sunday and holidays, excluding May 1st. In the months of July and August, Bicibus is active every day.

Bikebus GRADO - GORIZIA - CORMONS

From the sea to Collio, the service connects the Golden Island to Cormòns with stops at Monfalcone, Redipuglia, Gradisca d'Isonzo, and Gorizia.

Bikebus UDINE - LATISANA - LIGNANO

From 1 july to 31 August 2024 the service connects the Friulian capital to the seaside town at the mouth of the Tagliamento with 3 pairs of daily runs.
In addition, thanks to the X River that crosses the river, you can continue your journey along the beautiful bike paths of Bibione.

Bikebus MANIAGO - GEMONA

Tthe service connects the city of knives to the town symbolizing the rebirth of Friuli after the 1976 earthquake, passing through Meduno, Travesio, Pinzano al Tagliamento, San Daniele del Friuli, Rivoli, and Osoppo.The service, which includes 2 departures from Maniago and 2 from Gemona, is active on Saturdays and holidays.

Bikebus AVIANO - PIANCAVALLO

The weekday service of the P20 Aviano-Piancavallo line will be operated with a bus equipped with a rear bike rack for 3 bicycles or a trailer for up to 20 bicycles.
The bicycle "spot" is available upon reservation at least 48 hours in advance, indicating the boarding point and destination, at the address prenotazioni@atap.pn.it; loading and unloading of bicycles can only take place at the Aviano (stadium) and Piancavallo (Tremol) stops.
