Penalties

Failure to comply with the rules contained in the vehicle regulations or in the ship regulations results in the application of an administrative penalty governed by the regional law of August 20, 2007, no. 23 and by the regional law of January 17, 1984, no. 1.

The enforcement of compliance with the rules is delegated by Tpl Fvg to the verifying agents, inspectors, and controllers of the associated companies. Tpl Fvg can also entrust the activities of prevention and verification to sworn guards and/or appointed agents.

At the time of inspection, you must present your travel document (ticket or renewal slip for the current month and identification card in case of a bus pass) accompanied by a valid identity document upon request.

If you are unable to present a valid travel document at the time of inspection, you will have to both pay for a regular fare ticket between the terminus of the journey undertaken, and pay the administrative penalty, as provided for by the current Regional Law (for a maximum amount of 210.00 euros).

In the event that the payment is made within 60 days from the date of the finding (for adults) or from the date of notification (for minors), pursuant to 'art. 7 of the L.R. 01/84 and of the art. 35 of the L.R. 23/07, the amount of the penalty is reduced to 70.00 euros, equivalent to a third of the penalty, in addition to the amount of the regular fare ticket and any procedural costs (if notified).

Furthermore, failure to comply with the vehicle regulations results in a penalty of 108.00 euros. If the payment is made within 60 days from the date of the finding (for adults) or from the date of notification (for minors), pursuant to 'art. 7 of the L.R. 01/84 and of the art. 35 of the L.R. 23/07, the amount of the penalty is reduced to 36.00 euros, equivalent to a third of the penalty.

You can make the payment of penalties in the following ways:

- immediately to the verifying agent who will proceed to issue you the payment receipt;

- by bank transfer;

- at the Core ticket offices, equipped with the assessment report and/or any received letter (notification or response to a defensive letter submitted):

In the event of a failure to reconcile the offense, the adult offender, or the person exercising parental authority, has the option, by waiving the reduced payment measure, within 60 days from the delivery or notification of the report, to send defensive writings to the Sanctions Office of the territorially competent consortium via Certified Email or by registered mail with return receipt or, alternatively, to personally appear at the same office.

The submission of a defensive statement does not suspend the terms for the payment of the penalty. A response will be provided to the aforementioned writings (no later than 30 days) from which the filing of the contestation report, the reduction of the penalty, or the confirmation of the validity of the ascertained penalty may result. It is also reminded that, in compliance with paragraph 2 of art. 35 of the L.R. 23/07, if the same violation has been committed twice in a solar year, the provided administrative penalty will be increased up to half.
