The connections with Trieste Airport
The Intermodal Hub attached to the Trieste Airport is the new connection infrastructure of Friuli Venezia Giulia that integrates air, rail, and road mobility.
All connections with TPL FVG vehicles, in fact, use the new bus station (and no longer the area adjacent to the Arrivals zone) which is located next to the railway line stop and directly connected to the airport with a very convenient elevated walkway.
The routes connect the entire regional territory with the airport through arrivals and departures towards the main directions and for the main centers of Friuli Venezia Giulia in order to best serve both the needs of business customers and tourist flows.
The tickets
The tickets can be purchased from two automatic dispensers: one is located in the bus station, the other inside the Arrivals area of the airport.
The bus services to and from the city of Trieste depart approximately every half hour and include some important intermediate stops both from a tourist and commercial point of view such as Duino, Sistiana, Borgo San Mauro (Porto Piccolo), Grignano Miramare.
The bus station of Trieste is perfectly integrated into the urban transport service and allows quick connections with Slovenia and Croatia.
For the city of Udine, you can choose direct routes via the highway or those that guarantee intermediate stops in important industrial areas such as San Giovanni al Natisone, Manzano and Buttrio.

The service ensures connection with the Intermodal Passenger Center of Gorizia from where all routes depart and arrive to reach various points of interest in the city and the cross-border line to Nova Gorica in Slovenia.
The connection includes intermediate stops at Gradisca d’Isonzo, a point of interchange with other services, and at Fogliano-Redipuglia, a location of historical and tourist significance.
All the routes that depart in the direction of Trieste and Grado also pass through Monfalcone, ensuring coverage and frequency almost equivalent to an urban service (in fact, the cost of the ticket is equivalent to an urban one).
The main tourist locations in the region are served by dedicated connections, the frequency of which increases during the months with the highest tourist traffic.
The connections with Lignano Sabbiadoro are only active during the summer season.
