Fares
Do you often travel within the regional territory for work or study? TPL FVG offers you numerous types of bus pass to meet your mobility needs.
Remember that each bus pass is only valid if accompanied by the ID card of the holder of the bus pass.
In case of inspection, you must present both documents. If you have purchased the bus pass online, you should be able to display it through the TPL FVG app or from the reserved area of the website www.tplfvg.it, also available in mobile version.
The identity card: control and security
Your bus pass, regardless of its duration and method of purchase, is only valid if accompanied by the identity card issued by TPL FVG, which you must present in case of inspection along with the coupon.
- The identity card is personal and non-transferable and lasts 5 years from the date of issue.
- If during a check you do not have your identity card with you, the administrative penalties provided by the Travel Regulations will be applied.
- If within 5 days following the inspection, you prove that you are regularly in possession of the bus pass (issued on a date prior to that of the inspection), you will not have to pay any penalty.
- The badges previously issued to customers by the individual consortium companies will remain valid until the expiration date.
Types of Bus Passes
Validity: 15 consecutive days in the period indicated on the travel ticket
Urban
Ordinary unlimited rides on a line or the entire urban network indicated on the bus pass.
Suburban
- unlimited runs
- 5 days a week, valid for 2 daily trips (round trip).

Mixed
A single bus pass to use urban and suburban services on the route indicated in the travel title.
Validity: calendar month
Urban
- Ordinary unlimited rides
- Soft Bands: unlimited rides exclusively during certain time slots:
Pordenone, Udine and Gorizia: from 10.00 until the end of service
Trieste: from 05.00 to 07.00 and from 21.00 until the end of service
Valid on a single line or on the entire urban network indicated on the travel ticket.
Suburban
- Ordinary unlimited rides
- 5 days a week of your choice, valid for 2 daily trips
- 3 days a week of your choice for 2 daily trips. This bus pass is reserved for part-time workers: a self-certification of vertical part-time working hours is required.

Validity: 12 consecutive calendar months
Urban
- Ordinary unlimited rides
- Soft Bands: unlimited rides exclusively during certain time slots:

Suburban

Mixed
A single bus pass to use urban and suburban services on the route indicated in the travel title.
Validity: 10 months from September to June or from October to July. To subscribe to this bus pass, it is not necessary to be a student and there are no age limits.
Urban
Ordinary unlimited rides on a single line or entire network.
Suburban
Ordinary unlimited rides valid on the route indicated in the travel title.
Mixed
A single bus pass to use urban and suburban services on the route indicated in the travel title at a discounted rate.
Bus pass valid from May 1st until the official summer closure date of schools (according to the official regional calendar).
Name from 10 to 50 rides
Reserved for protected categories - art.34 L.R. 23/2007.
Annual Urban
Valid for 12 consecutive calendar months on the entire network of the urban service indicated on the bus pass.
BUS PASS FOR THE ENTIRE REGIONAL URBAN NETWORK
A fortnightly, monthly or multi-monthly travel ticket that allows access to all seven urban services of TPL FVG (Gorizia, Grado, Lignano, Monfalcone, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine), within the validity limits of the bus pass itself.
HINTERLAND BUS PASS
Fortnightly, monthly, or multi-monthly travel title valid on all regional services offered within a radius of 14km or within the boundaries of the E03 tariff locations relative to a point of origin chosen by the user and which must necessarily be included among the locations of the urban transport headquarters of Gorizia, Monfalcone, Pordenone or Udine. Bus pass for unlimited rides within the validity limits of the pass itself.

REGIONAL SINGLE BUS PASS WITHIN 50KM
Fortnightly, monthly and multi-monthly travel ticket valid on all regional services offered up to a radius of 50km or within the boundaries of the E07 tariff zones relative to a point of origin chosen by the user, which must be among one of the urban transport locations of Gorizia, Grado, Lignano, Monfalcone, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine.

REGIONAL SINGLE BUS PASS BEYOND 50KM
The translation of the text is: Fifteen-day, monthly and multi-monthly travel title, which allows you to travel on all regional urban networks and on all regional extra-urban services relative to the location of the urban service chosen by the user among Gorizia, Grado, Lignano, Monfalcone, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine. It should be noted that the bus pass beyond 50km is valid on all the extra-urban service within the regional territory served by the TPL FVG lines. Unlimited rides pass within the validity limits of the pass itself.

At TPL FVG outlets in the area:
CORE TICKET OFFICES, where you can purchase all types of tickets and bus passes: these are the reference points for passenger assistance in the area, capable of managing every type of service;
ACTIVE OUTLETS, where you can purchase various types of tickets and bus passes (excluding discounted bus passes under art. 34).
How to purchase the bus pass and the badge
Print and fill out the form Request for issuance of the identity card and go to the ticket office with:
- 1 recent passport photo
- Copy of the identity document of the cardholder and the applicant (in the case of a bus pass for a minor).
The badge is valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Upon expiration of its validity, you can renew the badge for another 5 years (with the same procedures as the first issue).
The badge and renewal are free. If you request the badge online, you will be asked for a contribution of 5 euros. If you lose your valid badge, you can request a duplicate which will be issued at a cost of 5 euros.
Simultaneously with the request for the issuance of the card, you can also purchase the bus pass of your interest.
To purchase the Annual school bus pass, you must also complete the SELF-CERTIFICATION and bring a copy of the adult's identity document who signs it.
Discounts are expected in case of multiple bus passes in the same household.
Validity of the bus pass
The following are considered valid:
- the pre-filled bus passes: DO NOT need to be validated on board the vehicles as the validity dates are already printed at the time of issue
- The non-pre-filled bus passes on which the customer's first and last name and the validity period of the pass are clearly written in pen (without corrections or erasures or other manipulations): MUST be validated on the first trip as soon as you get on the vehicle, using the appropriate validators present on board the buses and vehicles of the Trieste-Opicina tramway.
- The discounted bus passes referred to in Article 34 of the regional law of August 20, 2007, no. 23.
Subscriptions will not be considered valid if they are not validated or altered, smeared, torn, cut, unreadable, validated in spaces other than those specifically reserved.
Lost, stolen or damaged travel tickets are not refundable. In case of loss, theft, destruction or deterioration of a computer-issued bus pass or an identity card, you can request a copy by taking on any administrative costs where applicable.
Print and fill out the form Application for identity card issuance and go to an authorized ticket office with a recent passport photo and a copy of the identity document of the cardholder and the applicant (in the case of a minor bus pass holder).
A new card will be issued to you at a cost of € 5.
Go to a TPL office, request the form for Substitute Declaration of Certification and, with a copy of the declarant's (adult) identity document, you will be issued an authorization to travel for the remaining validity of the bus pass.
If during a check by our staff you are unable to present your bus pass, remember that you have 5 days to present it at one of our offices. If the bus pass is found to be valid (issued before the date of the check), you will only be subject to a 5 euro administrative fine.
